Depart from your hotel in the morning and journey to Ağva where two rivers meet the Black Sea. Ağva is one of the Istanbul’s most popular weekend gateway destinations, Ağva, officially known as Yeşilcay ( Green River ), has the advantage of being both on the Black Sea coast close to a sandy beach and on the banks of the Göksu river which flows slowly out towards the sea here bypassing a string of the hotels that cater for those in search of semi-rural tranquility on the doorstep of the big city.
Upon arrival to Ağva, one of the conuntryside restautants welcoming us for avillage breakfast. After breakfast we embark to a boat and take a cruise on the Göksu river. Later, we drive to center of the Ağva and walk to port, see fishermans and gulls here. Next, journey to Hacılı village. Hacılı is a forest village, located very colose to Ağva.We will walk around the small streets and rest at the forest cafe. Next, we drive thru Şile town.
Şile is a lovely leisure town at the bank of Black Sea and 80 kilometers from Istanbul city center. Şile has a string of sandy beaches, the best of them, especially the long and wild one at “Kumbaba”, not yet build-up. Visit historical and the largest lighthouse in Turkey and the second largest lighthouse still in operation in the world. Later, take a free time in the town center for shopping.Here you can bu famous “Şile bezi” textile products.It is a light, see-through cotton clothes with hand embroidery, sold by the women on the main street. Later, visit port and have a late lunch with a delicious fish menu.
Afterwards, return to your hotel to relive your memories of an unforgettable day at the bank of Black Sea.
